Why Spiders?

Why is it always spiders that sneak up on my ass in the most unsuspecting moments? I mean why can't it be butterfly's?? I am a total Ron Weasley when it comes to dealing with spiders. I run quickly, in fear. But the sad part about living by yourself, is that there is no one to wake up to kill the spider.

So this morning I was casually looking for some shampoo because I literally ran out and did not feel like dry shampooing my hair, I went to look under my bathroom vanity minding my own darn business. Well as I started looking this eight legged, scary ass bastard dropped right in front of my face.

With him suspended in mid air, I did what any female in my situation would do. I screamed like a little girl and swatted at the air like I was magically going to kill him with my air swatting ninja skills. But Mr. Spider just pulled up onto the lip on my bathroom sink.

Let me tell you this is the 5th spider in a month that has tried to attack me in my own home. And this morning when I realized what was happening, I didn't get scared and run for the hills. No, I got pissed because this little asshole thought he could just hide from me. Little did he know, I have seen Taken 1 & 2 Multiple times.

So I went into my office and grabbed the necessary supplies for arachnid murder. A can of air, a flip flop, and a tissue. All of those items seemed like the equivalent of trash bags, some rope, and bleach; and all of those items would be necessary in seeking my revenge.

Once I spotted Mr. Spider, I turned that can of air upside down, froze his little ass, and then slammed my flip flop down with the furry of a thousand suns (or is it sons?)

I missed.

So I finally I just started randomly hitting the flip flop on the sink in several different spots. That worked. Victory was mine!

Moral of the story? Don't be scared, and just randomly swat. In the end you will hit your target.

And because I feel pumped now and am at my physical office, I give you some slight angry music. Not hard core, but not the fluffy stuff that I have been putting on here.

5 Guys, A Girl, and Some Music

So here I am, linking up because I feel like this post is extremely acceptable topic.

Ladies, I am talking about boys, well now they are Men. But in our youth they were the eye candy of our hearts. The hot pieces of man candy that we bought Tiger Beat and Teen Magazines for to pull out the magical fold out poster in the middle. And god forbid if it were a dual sided poster that had two hunks on it. What side should I put up?!! I am still asking this after my Shane West and Milo Ventimiglia poster. GAH!!

So here are 5 Men from our younger days, tween/teen,  that I can't help but love.

1.) Freddie Prince Jr.
That smile + those dimples = the heartthrob that stole our hearts. Truly a prince charming, Freddie here made us all believe that true love is possible; and that one day the most popular guy in high school would help us transform ourselves from a boring duck to a Swan.

Now: We don't see much of Freddie on the big screen anymore, what with his wife being on TV in her regular series The Crazy Ones. But Freddie here has been in small parts recently in Witches of East East End and Bones.

2) Chad Michael Murray
Who didn't wish they were stuck in a library with this guy (sans the person with a gun)?? Chad may have started out as school jerk Tristan in Gilmore Girls, but he definitely stole our hearts as the lovable Lucas Scott in One Tree Hill. And let's not forget the A Cinderella Story where he played Austin, where this NoMad found his princess in a Diner Girl. Or the moment we found out he liked Brittany Spears as much as we did in Freaky Friday.

Now: This blonde haired, blue eyed heartthrob still lives on doing indie films, and smaller tv shows including the show Southland and Chosen (both of which I have never seen.).

3) Milo Ventimiglia
On to one of the bad boys we all loved to,  hate.  Milo made his way into our hearts on Gilmore Girls as the brooding bad boy Jess. You hated him, you loved him, and there were times that both came into affect in one episode. He also starred in American Dreams and NBC's Heroes.

Now: Ignoring the Cinematic fails of That's My Boy and Grown Ups 2; Milo joined Chad Michael Murray in the show Chosen, has done some small indie/tv movie roles, and has been the voice of Wolverine in the animated versions of the comic series. And HOPEFULLY he will be rejoining his Heroes cast for the Heroes Reborn.

4) Shane West

Shane... First let's go back to my earlier statement of me trying to figure out what side of my Teen Pop poster to put up. Shane West, well he was my Ryan Gosling of the early 2000's. I wept every time I saw A Walk To Remember, and fought all of my pre-teen friends when they said he was their husband. It really ended friendships. You see this silly lock thing he used to wear....Yea I may, or may not, have worn something similar ALL through Junior High. Don't judge me... a lot.

Now: Shane has recently been in the CW series Nikita, which ended last year. They could have played this series off a lot longer than they did, but after night changes and serious script failures we had to bid Nikita farewell. Now Shane is on a new series Salem which looks thrilling and creepy at the same time!

5) Heath Ledger.
I think we all could agree that this was a man who was lost too early. He had so many iconic roles, that are still loved to this day. My first encounter with Heath was in 10 things I hate about you, which has since been one of my favorite movies. He dazzled us once again in A Knights Tale, and then surprised us with his role as the Joker. He will always remain a legend in my books.

What Male Celebs did you rush to get the newest copies of TeenPOP or TigerBeat for?

Two Songs today to love and adore! I am sure you can recognize the first.

What to do, what to do, what to do.....

That is all I have done this week...asked what to do. Now this isn't my normal, what do I eat for dinner today because that has turned into, how do I spice this Top Ramen up?

This week has been full of what to do's though. Like the mindless question that it is, that is how I was feeling. Even this post has a the feeling of lost and confused. So without further a due, here were my qualms of this week.

What do I watch? I mean there is absolutely nothing on Netflix, and I cannot start a new series.
Solution: I watched really mushy, girl gets the guy in the end type movies. Tons of them.

What do I do about my co-worker and company adding me on Instagram? One is not my coworker, but I do technically control when  he gets paid. And I never thought the day would come when I had people from work besides my two besties finding me on Instagram.
Solution: I literally scrolled through all of my photos to make sure that none of them would cause me to get fired, and deleted any that had my blog link to it; and then accepted them. Now if they try to add me on Twitter or Facebook those a-holes better hope that they can sort out being flagged for inappropriate content.

What do I do about gas money? I mean I am short this paycheck... Thank you $196 vehicle registration.
Solution: Make my male BFF feel really guilty about the fact that I still am storing his shit at my house for him, including his animal. And suggest that he can make it up to me by helping me with my electric bill. Deceitful, yes.... but it worked and I now have gas money and money for electric. Plus he likes to try and hand me money all of the time and has not taken me to dinner in months.

What Music do I listen to today?
Solution: I tried N'sync Radio on Spotify and that was an Epic Fail.  So Now I am listening to Lindsey Stirling's new album Shatter Me. Got to support my AZ Artists.

My coffee mug just shattered because I was half asleep.... What do I use because I am the retard that only has two mugs in my house?
Solution: Mason Jar

What do I do to my poor coworkers who don't understand sarcasm?
Solution: use more of it and make it outlandish in hopes that they will finally understand it. Or put up my sarcasm note.

How and what do I bribe someone with to take me to see X-Men?
Solution: My little brother owes me a birthday present and his girlfriend works at a movie theatre. SCORE!! Free Movie here I come.

What do I write about?
Solution: well instead of writing about any of the items on my mind map that I made this week, I chose to write this. Enjoy!

Have a question you need answered? I may be able to help.

P...P,P,P....P

Yea I got nothing. I actually did have something brilliant for the letter P for the A-Z Challenge and I wrote it on a sticky note, and lost said sticky note. And now I cannot remember what I wrote. So today I give you a ton of P's!

 photo Peoplejpg_zps9db1863b.jpg
So there is no lie that certain people have been driving me nuts lately. And by nuts I mean completely bat crap crazy. But when it comes to blogging, there are still people that I have been obsessed with lately. Heck I love all of you guys, because you keep me sane. And you don't ask stupid questions.
My weekly blog obsessions:
Not Before My Tea - She makes me jealous of her running habits, and inspires me to attempt running.
My Little HEA- Because she is rocking this A-Z Challenge!
Helene In Between- Because I just love her posts, and she is a skilled dancer.
Endless Bliss- Girl how do you read so many books! You and My Little HEA both!

 photo Planningjpg_zps1f200156.jpg
Procrastination has not been my friend today or this week. Heck it is never my friend, and yet it is the horrible bad habit that I keep coming to. In order to prevent it from happening again, I busted out my planner and started with the day to day scheduling again. Personally I think I need an assistant, but that would require me to hire someone. And after the last fail, I am having trouble even deciding to post for positions. Anyone who lives in AZ want a job? Anyone??
 photo Picturesjpg_zpsc98947bc.jpg
So I have been meticulously looking for pictures on all of my hard drives of me to send to the wonderful Tiffany at Endless Bliss..... And I realized that all I have are thousands of selfies. So I told I decided that for my birthday I am getting portraits done. Best part, it's free because my wonderful hobbyist photographer mother is taking them! Now I am excited because I get to buy new outfits for it! I just need to decide where in Dallas I want to do them. I was thinking the Bishop Arts District or the Arboretum. Has anyone been to either of those places in Dallas, TX?

WHO DOESN'T LOVE PUPPIES?!!! There are two in particular that I have been cooing over, mostly because I see the most adorable pictures of them on Instagram and I WANT THEM!!!
Meet Filip and Liam! Totes adorbs right?! I mean look at them cuddling together, so precious!

And then you have Manny! Who is the doggy of my dreams!

To see more of Manny (and Filip and Liam) follow Manny on Instagram! You won't regret it! @manny_the_frenchie

I am totally done with the music station that is playing at work, and pretty much any song that is on the Top 100 chart. They can all go to song hell! So I did some random picking on spotify and found the Top 100 rock tracks, and I love it! You have the classic Boston, Iron Maiden, and Aerosmith and then you switch into some 30 Seconds to Mars, Skillet, and Avenge Sevenfold. Perfect for those angry music type days.

This is one of the tracks that is on there! I love it.

Batter Up!!

Spring training is officially over here in Phoenix, so I no longer have to worry about traffic around the valley. But BOB (Chase Field) is literally walking distance from my office, making it easy for me to pop over to a game after work. YIPPEE!!! Now I know that I said I love basketball, but honestly who doesn't love baseball?! If you don't let me give you five simple reasons to love baseball with the help of one of the best baseball movies around.

1) People watching: Baseball is fantastic for people watching! There are literally people from all aspects of life there, and you can see so so much. Plus the number of attractive guys who go to baseball games is endless. Plus there are extremely attractive players, so it is a win win when it comes to eye candy.
I mean what girl didn't think Benny the Jet Rodriguez was a total dream boat? Le Sigh...

2) The Food: calories don't count at baseball games! Get a beer, a hot dog, and a bag of peanuts  because they are the best at a ball game! It is the only time I typically eat a hotdog, because somehow they magically taste better at a ball game. And when that guy comes walking up and down the isle with cotton candy, cracker jacks, or giant cookies don't deny yourself the pleasure of a sweet treat. The best is when you bring in your own bag of peanuts or sunflower seeds. ENDLESS snack food right there.
3) Accessorize!: Ladies this is the one time where no one will judge you for wearing a baseball hat, a mustard stained t-shirt (from the hot dog) and your favorite pair of chuck tailors. You want to know why? Because no one cares, we are too busy watching the game! However, we will judge you if you show up with a flat brimmed hat or in your pajama pants. Just no..
4) Easiest sport to understand: Now if you didn't grow up around the dugout because your dad coached league ball like I did, have no fear! It is possibly the easiest game to pick up on. And if you are still having problems ask the Hottie McHotterson sitting next to you, baseball fans are very understanding. Unless you are rooting for the opposing team, then just pretend you know what your watching.
5) The Lingo: I am not completely sure this is still in effect, but I still adhere to the baseball lingo traditions. And if you trash talk the other team no one is going to stop you... except if it is the home team.

March Madness Chaos

Fact #3851 about Kylea: I really, REALLY love to watch basketball. Granted, watching it on TV is a tad bit more boring than seeing it court side with free wine (thank you corporate seats!) but none the less, I love it. My inner sports maniac comes put and I start yelling at players and referees. Meanwhile my friends are looking at me like I am turning into a big hulking green monster. I get completely involved with the crappy calls and have even impressed a few guys with my hulk anger at bogus calls.
I have never been a basketball watching, loving type of girl. Baseball yes, basketball not so much. But thanks to some explanations from an Ex of mine, I grew to love it. And then hate it when Steve Nash went to the freaking Lakers; AKA our mortal enemies, but not as badly as the San Antonio Spurs shitty cry babies from San Antonio, TX though. But I am back to my roots of wishing that I could go to more games each season, but instead I have to live vicariously through recaps on ESPN.
Now in March you have what is known as March Madness. I won't lie I have only known what the heck it is for about 4 years now. For a long time I thought the term was used for people who had a severe case of road rage here in AZ because the snow birds were still here. Not the case, I found out. For those of you who hadn't figured it out, it is a competition for the Colleges (NCAA) to find a champion. Basically the massive playoffs for college basketball.
Well with March Madness comes the pools, and in our office one person runs the pool. Well this year that person is ME! Now what does that mean? Well it means I've had the excuse to watch ESPN all day to keep track of what teams win.

So here I am watching Basket Ball working while keeping an eye on the scores. Wishing I had a cold beer, a beer-garita, or some wine.... and some nacho's. Definitely some nachos.  Sounds legit right?
Here is some music to get you in the basketball mood.

Friday My Love

Dear Friday, oh how I missed you so! It seams like a century has passed since we last met. Our parting last week was full of such sweet sorrows, and now we sieze the day with passion and joyful laughter. Dear Albert Einstein, Happy birthday good sir! Thank you for creating some of the most important pillars in physics today.  Dear 3.14 or Pi, I so love using today to dupe people into thinking it's national PIE day. Two people already asked if we were getting pie in the office. Bwahahahah! But seriously, you were torturous in every math class I have ever taken. That's not cool. Dear draft blog posts, there are like four of you... can you please finish yourselves? No? Fine... Dear readers, I may have four posts out today, sorry. Dear Ghillie, you are cuter than words can describe. I am sorry that I have to leave you for 3 days. But I know that when I get back you will be happier than Sheldon Cooper meeting Leonard Nimoy, and you may have gained another 5 pounds thanks to grandma. It's ok we will loose the weight together. Dear Pinterest, be prepared to have your boards rocked! I don't feel like doing shit today! Plus I have an office that I need to start remodeling. Dear #backthatazzupfriday, it took me a while to figure out what song I wanted to put on here. However, I remembered that the VERONICA MARS MOVIE is out today and My butt is going to be on the couch streaming it tonight. So in honor of one of my favorite TV shows:

Oh what a feeling!

Stolen from Pinterest
Dear Friday, Oh how I have longed for you all week. Our fleeting affair last week left me wanting more. Can you just stay around forever? Dear Email, we are not playing the enter your password 50 times today game. Get your shit together! We have played this game all week and I am really tired of it.  Dear Cesar, congratulations my little employee you have made it a week. It has been painfully quiet for you but I promise it will get busier. Dear Toms, I would appreciate it if you did not give me a blister today. I found you in the back of my closet and I really want to wear you more often. But we all know what happens to the heels that give me blisters. Dear Arizona, can we keep this weather all year round? Pretty, pretty please?? The 75-82 degrees every day is like a little piece of sunny heaven.  Dear Starbucks, your hazelnut machiatto has made me one happy camper. I don't know if I will ever be able to go back to normal carmel machiattos. Dear Sean my favorite Barista at Starbucks, bravo good sir, bravo.

Here is my #backthatazzup pick for this week. Please don't judge but I did watch glee for the first two seasons and love Lea Michele's voice. So I am going to play it a little #Louder
